Dustin J. Kessler focuses his practice primarily in the area of employment-based immigration. His work includes assisting employers seeking to sponsor foreign nationals for work authorization through the visa process. He assists clients with the petitioning process for nonimmigrant visa classifications such as the H1B, J1, L1, O1, R1 and TN visas. He also helps those pursuing the immigrant visa (permanent residence) process, including the PERM Labor Certification process, the EB1, EB2, EB3 and NIW visa classifications, and Adjustment of Status.
Dustin works with employers sponsoring foreign nationals in a variety of industries including education/academia, IT, financial services, architecture, engineering, manufacturing, transportation, and healthcare.
He has served on many professional boards and committees throughout his career including serving as Past-Chair of the Nebraska State Bar Association’s Immigration Committee for which he was the inaugural Chair. Dustin is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and has been active in the Iowa/Nebraska Chapter where he has served as Past- Secretary. He received his Law Degree from the University of Nebraska – College of Law, with distinction, where he served on the Moot Court Board.
Dustin has been selected by his peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America ® – Immigration Law since 2015, and has also been recognized by the Super Lawyers List since 2015. He has been named to the Best Immigration Attorney list by Omaha Magazine’s Best of Omaha publication in 2021 and 2022.
