Kira K. Strandquest practices within the Litigation section, representing individuals and companies involved in commercial disputes. Prior to joining Baird Holm, Kira practiced at a Philadelphia law firm, where she focused on health care litigation, representing hospitals and healthcare professionals in medical malpractice cases, as well as assisting clients with state and federal investigations.
Kira earned her J.D. from Dickinson School of Law of the Pennsylvania State University where she served as President of the Student Bar Association and a member of Dickinson Law’s Moot Court, through which she participated in the National Immigration Law Moot Court Competition at New York University. While in law school, she clerked for the Department of Justice, U.S. Attorney’s Office in the Middle District of Pennsylvania and was a certified legal intern with the Dauphin County District Attorney’s Office.
Before entering law school, Kira held a number of roles in public policy and community affairs in Omaha, Nebraska. She returned to Omaha to be closer to her mother, a professor at Creighton University’s Dental School. Having been born in India and raised in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area, Kira is passionate about fostering cross-cultural competency and using it to better identify and understand client’s needs and values.
