Scott S. Moore is one of the few employment lawyers regionally who has been selected as a Fellow of The College of Labor and Employment Lawyers (the premier peer-selected organization of labor and employment lawyers in North America), and as a member of the American Employment Law Council (the Nation’s premier organization for management-side employment lawyers).
Since 2006, Scott has been selected by his peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America® in the fields of Employment Law, Immigration Law, and Labor Law. He was named “Lawyer of the Year” by Best Lawyers® in 2020 for Omaha Employment Law – Management, in 2018 and 2022 for Omaha Labor Law – Management, and in 2017 and 2021 for Omaha Immigration Law. He has been listed in the Great Plains Super Lawyers, has been recognized as one of Nebraska’s top employment defense lawyers in Chambers USA, and is “AV” rated by Martindale-Hubbell. Scott is the founding partner of Baird Holm’s Best Places to Work in Omaha initiative.
Scott serves on the Board of Directors for the Nebraska State Chamber of Commerce & Industry and is the Chair of the Board of Directors for the Children’s Respite Care Center. He is a former Special Assistant Attorney General for the State of Nebraska, a former Council Chair of the Labor Relations Committee for the Nebraska State Chamber of Commerce & Industry, the former Chair of the Labor and Employment Section of the Nebraska State Bar Association, and has served on the University of Nebraska College of Law Dean’s Advisory Board.
