Description:
On July 4, 2025 the President signed into law The One Big Beautiful Bill Act. The Act extends or implements funding initiatives and tax incentives which greatly impact employers and employer-sponsored benefit plans, including:
-
- Incentives for employees to work overtime and for tips;
- Targeted expansions to Health Saving Accounts;
- Increased contribution limits for dependent care spending;
- Greater work requirements for Medicaid eligibility;
- Tax credits for development of paid family and medical leave;
- Permanent tax-free reimbursements of student loan repayments;
- Increases to the child care tax credit;
- Development of a child savings account known as the “Trump Account”;
- Expansion of immigration control and enforcement.
This webinar will address opportunities from the Act for employers to set themselves up for success and competitive advantage, and will outline the key legal compliance issues applicable to employers under the Act.
